Today's prompt on Jamie Ridler's Wishcasting Wednesday is "How do you wish to nourish yourself?" It's a great question isn't?
It's November and I'm starting to feel that build up of frantic energy. A lot of it has to do with working in retail. The store gets so busy and there's such a huge emphasis on selling, selling, selling. Customers get grumpy, your bosses and coworkers get overwhelmed, and sometimes it's all you can do to not pull your hair out.
Add to that, I am bursting with ideas and inspiration. I am working on a new ebook, "How to find your Goddess". As I've mentioned before Aphrodite and Hestia are my Patron (or Matron, if you will) Goddesses, I've been asked how I found my Goddesses and what that relationship entails. I'd love to share that, so right now I'm working on that sharing, it's also going to include information on almost 50 Goddesses and how to connect with them.
Huge undertaking right?
So back to the nourishing... between the upcoming Thanksgiving/Christmas season and my ideas running all over the place, I am going to nourish myself with relaxation.
I don't always have to be doing something. I can take a day to sit in my jammies and watch the Golden Girls if I want to. It's all about avoiding that horrible thing called burn-out.
I am going to take days to nourish myself by being fabulously lazy.
