Book Review: Grimoire For The Green Witch

Posted on 06:00 by Unknown
Grimoire For The Green Witch by Ann Moura is an absolute treasure. I have used this book so much in my magical practice due to it's wonderful information and beautiful rituals. I recommend it to anyone walking a magical path.

How do I even begin to tell you about this book? It is great for beginners if you are just starting out. In the first section she has definitions of basic tools, materials, and symbols. She gives great information about the Sabbats (holidays) and that is probably the best part of the book.

For each Sabbat she gives a wonderful list of associated incense, decorations, food, and a really in depth list of activities. She even shares Pagan versions of Christmas Carols. The rituals she includes for each sabbat and for each phase of the moon are absolutely phenomenal.

There are also rituals for blessing your tools, Handfastings, crystal cleansings, consecrations, crystal programmings, dedication rituals, and how to draw down the moon. Seriously Loves, this is a book of ritual awesomeness. You'd be hard pressed to find a better resource.

There's also a list of eight guided meditations which are so wonderful. I'm a big fan of meditations and I just love these. There's one for releasing fears, past lives, and honoring ancestors. It is a treasure!

The next section of the book is about spell work and correspondences and holy wow! There's about 20 smaller sections just to this part of the book. There's the usual color, herbs, and crystals but it also goes into a ton of information about the planets, animal totems, numerology, oils, and runes.

There's also a section about spells broken down into blessings, protections, prosperity, health, fertility, and then a miscellaneous section, not to mention a section on crafts, such as special pouches and charms.

And as if it could get better...

Herbal tea recipes (over 30!) and how to make your own magical oils and herbal bath mixtures!

The last section of the book is called Divinations and has a list of symbols and what they mean, how to read palms, tea leaf reading, over 10 pages of tarot meanings, how to scry, pendulums and rune casting.

I am not exaggerating when I say this is 450 pages of magical amazingness!

So go get it and be blown away!

Magic Manifesting: Root Chakra

Posted on 06:00 by Unknown

Today on Magic Manifesting Monday we're going to talk a little bit about chakras. I thought it would be a great idea to feature one each month. In case you aren't very familiar with what chakras are, here's the low down.

Chakras are energy centers located down the middle of our bodies. Each of the chakras are associated with different psychological properties. Chakras are considered "open" when our energies can flow easily through them. When our chakras are blocked we can find different problems and issues popping up in our lives.

The Root Chakra
Color: Red
Location: Base of the spine
The Root Chakra is about being present in your body and feeling physically grounded and at home in situations. The chakra governs your feelings of stability and security.

If your root chakra is blocked you might have issues with co-dependency, inability to relax, unexplained feelings of fear and anxiety, feeling irrational amounts of anger, lacking confidence, fear of abandonment, and feeling tired.

There are tons of ways to open your root chakra if you feel you have a blockage. You can use crystals by setting (or holding) a stone such as hematite, red jasper, or black obsidian, over that area of your body. You can close your eyes and picture your chakra shining with a healthy red light, or you can do a chakra meditation. There are some really great resources out there!

Stop Worrying About What Others Think

Posted on 06:00 by Unknown
It's Self Care Sunday and I am here to sprinkle a little self care advice on you. Today I want to talk about something that you can do to be kind to yourself and improve your life.

Don't allow other people's judgement of you affect how you live your life.

You know who you are, you know what makes you happy and you shouldn't let anyone take that away from you.

A few months ago I almost fell into a trap. You know the one, a cute guy, who's unbelievably bad for you, but he's cute and he gives you attention so you overlook it.

In December I started hanging out with a guy at work. I'd known him for years and after years of not talking we ended up connecting again. It was nice to have someone to hang out with and talk to. I tried to tell him about my website, my work online, and I continually met with ridicule about everything that I did. He'd roll his eyes whenever I mentioned my blog, he thought it was hilarious that I was into holistic healing, and he enjoyed telling his friends about it too so they could laugh.

I started to second guess myself.

Was I making a difference? Was everything I was doing stupid? If someone who was my friend didn't "get it" then how could strangers get it? And there was that little voice whispering in my ear, you might know him, his name is Failure and he's kind of a jerk.

I realized something important. My friend's opinion didn't matter. His one opinion didn't override my feelings, my wants, what made me  happy.

This experience inspired me to make "Boundaries" my Word-Of-The-Year.

I created Boundaries and that person is no longer in my life. I am so much better for it. So here's what I want you to do: If there are people in your life who are judging you and what you do, let it go. You don't have to cut them out of your life, but remember this:

It is your right to NOT let their opinions become your opinions.

Rock on!

The Beauty of Slowness

Posted on 06:00 by Unknown

Right now I am sitting here listening to the rain dripdripdrip outside, It's lovely, it's beautiful, and so nourishing to my soul. Every week I like to pull a card to share with you from one of my Oracle Card Decks. This week's card comes from Brian Froud's The Faery's Oracle. Which I absolutely love. Faery Wisdom is so whimsical and insightful.

This week's card is Geeeeeooo the Slooow

Cycles of Time. Slowness. Waiting. Patience.

Geeeeeooo is the Gnome of slow processes. He ponders the important things like "How long will it take for water to smooth a rock at the bottom of the river. How much taller will that mountain be in a million years?" He lounges around, watching, making sure that life happens just how it is supposed to... slowly. If you rush things you'll do a horrible job of it, ya know?

Geeeeeooo shakes his head in confusion as he wonders why we speed around daily life, ignoring the small changes around us. He doesn't understand why we rush around trying to accomplish everything with the idea that we are making things good for ourselves later but never now. Where is the sense in that?

Take this moment to slooooow down. Sit back, take a deep breath. Are you hurrying and rushing anything along? Are you stressed out by trying to fit too much in your day? Try to slow down and relax, work on your patience. Remember that life isn't a sprint, you are in it for the long-haul, so set a pace that you can maintain.

If you want a more personalized reading you can get one from me right here!

Wishing you lots of love and a beautiful day!

Wishcasting Wednesday: My Health and Wellness

Posted on 23:04 by Unknown

It's Wishcasting Wednesday, blessings and fulfillment to you my fellow Wishcasters! I hope that this year has started amazingly for you!

Today Jamie Ridler Studios asks us "What do you wish for your health & wellness?" I will admit that I got a little bit stumped about this, but then again it's not something that has been a big focus for me lately, and then I realized how important it is, and how it should be a focus for me.

I've suffered from depression for the majority of my life and I've been on a long journey to find ways that allow me to cope with that. It has been a lot of internal work, holistic remedies, and having the perseverance to discover what works for me and what doesn't.

Wellness for me means listening to what my body wants/needs even when it's inconvenient. Taking time to rest and relax even when I have things that I need to get done. Giving my body nourishment, in whatever that means in the moment.

I finally feel like I've made real progress in my life and in my mental well-being. I know that I still have work to do and I wish to continue on my path to health and well-being there are so many beautiful things that have come out of this journey that when I say that I "suffer" from depression, sometimes I feel like I was "gifted" with depression. It has really allowed me to see my own strengths, to discover my limitations, and to develop compassion that I might not otherwise have.

Happy Wishes!

(P.S. I made a few new wallpapers inspired by some awesome words-of-the-year and I'd love for you to check 'em out)

Book Review: Cottage Witchery

Posted on 06:00 by Unknown
Morning my Lovies. Today I have a book review that I'd like to share with you. I am a huge fan of Ellen Dugan, she is one of my favorite New Age authors. I think she comes across as very knowledgeable, I love her writing style, and she has some great ideas. Her book, Cottage Witchery has got to be one of my favorites!

I have a close relationship with Hestia Greek Goddess of Hearth and Home, and this means I am a home-body. I love my home, I love decorating, I love cleaning, I love "keeping the hearth fires" so to speak.

The point of this book is to help you create a warm and welcoming magical home and it absolutely delivers. If you want your home to reflect a magical lifestyle, even in a non-obvious way, then buy this book.

The first section is about blessing and protecting your home. I have a little pouch of crystals, herbs, and trinkets hanging from my front door for protection. Ward your home, bless your home, even learn to use hex symbols to bring luck.

There's a chapter on Natural Magic Around The Home, how to use color magic to create a certain atmosphere, the basics of feng shui, natural altars, and how to make your working space magical. I loved this chapter. When I bought this book my living room was decorated with reds and oranges (which was weird because I was not a fan of either colors but it felt right) and I learned that as a fire sign I can be more drawn to those colors, those colors also make a loving and warm atmosphere. (Which in case you're new here, I'm a pretty warm and loving girl).

Chapter three is about Kitchen Magic and it teaches you how to use herbs and spices in your magic, how to read tea leaves, kitchen folklore, and a little worksheet. Another chapter is about home Gods and Goddesses and spirits. There's even a bit of faerie magic!

Chapter Five is a wonderful resource for decorating for the holidays. There's a section for each season and each section shows you wonderful (and easy!) ways to make your home reflect the seasons. The next chapter is about outside spaces like patios, porches, and decks, how houseplants can be magical.

The last four sections are very magical, they include many more ways to protect your home, how to bring in prosperity, happiness, and harmony. At the end of the book is a great Household Journal for you to keep all of your notes.

Ellen Dugan is a wonderful resource and I recommend all of her books, but this one is definitely something you should have on your shelves!

Magic Manifesting: Lavender Aromatherapy

Posted on 06:00 by Unknown

I am a huge fan of aromatherapy and recently became a certified Aromatherapist, which is all sorts of awesome! One of the ways that I  relieve my stress and anxiety is to use essential oils. There is something so wonderful about soothing scents wafting through your home. Today I'm going to share with you some information about one of my favorite oils that will help relax you and relieve stress.

Lavender comes from the Latin root lavare which means 'to wash' as the Romans used it to scent their bath water. Lavender is one of the most popular scents you can find and it's used in tons of stuff, especially bath products. The oil is extracted from the fresh flowers of the lavender plant.

Oh my gosh, do I love lavender. I dab a little bit on my neck before work and I just love how it makes me feel. First off, it smells awesome, and secondly, I associate it with peace and relaxation and it has that effect on me.

Lavender is said to help with a whole list of issues. It can help with stress, anxiety, insomnia, and help stabilize your mood. Coupled with something like massage using a lavender oil can have some amazing benefits. The scent of lavender can also be used to treat headaches, nervous disorders, and exhaustion.

When using Lavender oil on the skin it can be used as an antiseptic, and to help with acne and eczema.

Definitely invest in a few ounces of Lavender, a little goes a long way. You can put a few drops in a spray bottle and mix it with water and spray your pillows for a deep restful sleep. You can heat some in an oil diffuser to help you wind down after a long day. A lavender scented bath is pretty much the best thing ever and using lavender in a massage oil will take you to a new level of heaven.

Do you have a favorite essential oil?

Please be careful when using essential oils. If you have a pure essential oil, always dilute it with a carrier oil before applying it to your skin. Never ingest any oils and please use common sense!

Self Care Sunday: Give Yourself Permission

Posted on 06:00 by Unknown

Self Care Sunday, yay yay yay!

Today I want to talk about one of my absolute inspirations and I want to share with you some of her amazing work. Goddess Leonie, who I absolutely love, released a free Affirmation mp3 called "You Have Permission" (You can read the list right here if listening to it isn't your thang) and it rocks my socks.

I remember the first time I read her list. It made me cry, honestly. I didn't realize that I was NOT giving myself permission to do so many things. I was holding on to sucky friendships because I felt like I had to. I was caring about what everyone else thought about me that my "me-ness" was defined by that.

Reading "You Have Permission" opened up for me the knowledge that I didn't have to be stuck if I didn't want to be stuck. So let's unstuckify ourselves!

I made this Permission Worksheet as a reminder for you. This is perfect for Lazy Days. You have permission to lay on the couch. You have permission to wear pajama's all day long. You have permission not to do anything you don't want to do. You have permission to be freakin' amazing.

What do you give yourself permission to do today?

The Eclipse Mermaid Speaks

Posted on 06:00 by Unknown

On Thursdays I love to feature a card from one of my Oracle Card Decks and again this week I was called by Lucy Cavendish's Oracle of Shadows and Light. I asked the Cards what my readers need to know.

The Eclipse Mermaid
A Powerful Energy Shift

The Eclipse Mermaid is all about wild and powerful enegery. She bathes in it, swims in it, interacts with it, yet she doesn't force it in any particular direction. It's a go with the flow kinda thing.

Eclipses are times of great shifts in energy and awakenings and oftentimes unwanted change. When you enter this phase you just have to sit back and enjoy the ride. Resisting the change rarely goes well and you'll end up in the same place anyway.

Allow what needs to come out to come out. During this time the things that you have suppressed or hidden will begin to rise to the surface.

This would also be a great time to start something new. Let this powerful energy propel you forward and give you the momentum you need.

The changes that are taking place in your life right now are bringing you closer to exactly who you are and exactly where you need to be.

Do you see any big changes taking place in your life right now? How are you handling them? Do you tend to resist change or go with it?

What I wish to hear.

Posted on 23:20 by Unknown

"If you listen closely, what do you wish to hear?" is today's prompt at Jamie Ridler Studios. I wish to hear the truth. From myself and others. Sometimes my mind gets so convoluted with lies about myself and my talents, and most of those thoughts are caused by fear and inadequacy.

I want to continue to hear the truth of what those thoughts really are. Fear, with an underlying layer of "Dominee, you really are awesome." I will not believe the lies that my inner critic tells me. Instead I will give her a very stern look and tell her to shush and be nice.

I also wish to hear the truth from others. In the past I have taken things personally even when I wasn't meant to.  So I am really beginning to take a step back and realize that it isn't always about me (shocker right!?). That people have their own stuff that they're dealing with. The truth is most of the time it has very little to do with me and I need to understand that. (Enter my word of the year: Boundaries!)

So I wish to listen closely and to hear the truth!

Free Blessing Manifesting Worksheets!

Posted on 05:31 by Unknown

Hello my sweets. I had a creative burst of awesome that I wanted to share with you. As the New Year began I decided that there were some things that I really needed to work on. I decided that my Word-of-the-Year was going to be "Boundaries." I'm going to be making boundaries, trashing the ones that I don't need, and respecting the ones I have and the boundaries that others have.

One of the things that I have had a lot of trouble with is separating my business life from my fun-time. I have a retail job, which has pretty clear boundaries. When I'm there, I work, when I'm not, I don't. Way easy to keep track of. An online business, however, is a different beast altogether.

I absolutely love Blessing Manifesting, but in the beginning it was a hobby, it was play-time. As it evolved into an actual business I began to struggle with personal time for me and website stuff. I felt guilty if I went a day without doing something. My days off from the retail job were when I get stuff done and suddenly I started feeling like I didn't have any time off. Anxiety set in. Panic followed, and I wanted to run around screaming "WHAT AM I DOING?"

Enter the To-Do List.

I started my first To-Do List a few weeks ago. I painted the layout, I used rainbow colored markers, and glitter pens. Not only was it productive to write out what I had to do, it was fun, it was creative, and it chased the anxiety monsters away. (Plus I felt so accomplished and giddy when I crossed things off!) So now I'm pretty much obsessed with artsy lists and tonight I was led to make lists to share with you!

You can click on any of these three lists up above (or visit the freebies page) and be taken to an awesomely free .pdf file for your printing pleasure. I would LOVE if you'd share these with your friends, with your tribe, with anyone you think needs a little bit of organization in their life.

(p.s. How awesome would it be to print out the Gratitude List and fill it out for a loved one about how grateful you are for them and then give it to them?! Or how about fill it out to yourself!!!)

The 'You Have Permission" Worksheet is totally inspired by Goddess Leonie's kick ass post "You Have Permission". Go read it and be inspired too.

I love you guys!

Wishcasting: What I Wish To Reclaim

Posted on 01:40 by Unknown
Today Jamie at Jamie Ridler Studios asks us "What do you wish to reclaim?" I thought and thought about the answer to this question, but nothing seemed right, nothing seemed to really fit the question.

Then I thought about yesterday, how I sat here with paper and my paints and I spent the day creating. How good and right it felt. Yet, I think back to the thoughts that I thought before I picked up the paintbrush.

"What you paint is going to suck so don't have high expectations."

"Your art is never going to look as good as anyone else's."

"Expect crap and maybe it won't be as bad as you think. It MIGHT turn out all right."

When I was an early teen I felt so good about my art. I felt like my stuff was beautiful and it didn't matter what anyone else thought because I rocked. Then the years of depression hit and every time I tried to make art I just ended up feeling bad about what I created and getting even more depressed and frustrated.

For the past six months I've been trying to get into the whole art thing and it works well, but only when I decide it's going to turn out badly. If I go in with expectations, of wanting it to look nice. I always get frustrated and I give up.

I want to reclaim my faith in my art.

I want to believe again that everything I create is beautiful.

Happy Wishings my dears!

Self Care: Sleep

Posted on 06:31 by Unknown
(c) Josephine Wall

Hey sweets! Today we're going to have a conversation about that thing that we do at night with the pillows, and the bed, you know what I'm talking about...

Sleep!

Are you getting enough of it? Are you making the most of what you do get?

Most scientific types agree that the amount of sleep you need as a functioning adult is anywhere from 6-8 hours a day although some could use a little less or more depending on the person. Getting too little sleep (or too much) isn't good for your health.

When you sleep it gives your body time to rest, time for it to stabilize, you produce chemicals while you sleep that allow your body to function. It can also effect your memory, your stress levels, and can lead to weight gain.

Allowing yourself to get restful sleep is you being good to your body.

Which we're all about here at Blessing Manifesting. So here's a little reminder for you.

Listen to your body. Get the sleep that YOU need, that makes you feel bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning.

Some tips you can use to get a restful sleep:

Cut off all caffeine half way through the day.

Don't fall asleep to the tv.

Create a falling asleep ritual that nourishes you, relaxes you, and makes you feel good about your day.

Start winding down about an hour or so before it's time to go to sleep.

Show yourself some love:

Make a cup of herbal tea.

Take a relaxing bath.

Spray your pillows with lavender.

Let the end of the day be the time that you focus on yourself.

Wisdom Card: Two Little Witches

Posted on 05:51 by Unknown
Hello my dears. I am still on a complete high from all of your loving support and feedback on 39 Things You Need To Know. I feel so loved and affirmed and it's a great way to start the New Year. So thank you. I love you. Infinitely.

This morning I was sitting at my altar and I wanted to do a reading for you. So I asked the Oracles of Shadows and Light, "What do my readers need to know?" This card, Two Little Witches popped up.

Time for magical space clearing babehs!

Energies build up in our homes. Have you ever been around someone who is angry and you can just feel it radiating off of them before they even say anything? That kind of energy can linger in our homes.

Now that the holidays are over it's time to start with a shiny clean slate. Two resources that I wholeheartedly recommend are Magical Housekeeping: Simple Charms and Practical Tips for Creating a Harmonious Homeby Tess Whitehurst and Goddess Leonie's Sacred Space Clearing Kit. Such scrumptious sources!

You can cleanse your space with sound, with incense, with prayer, and guided visualization. One of the most popular ways, and my favorite, is to use a bundle of sage and other herbs. Sage is easily found at any metaphysical shop and is wonderful at making your space vibrate with positive energy.

You can take sage/incense and walk around your home, letting the smoke drift into every corner. Dissipating the energy found there. You can ask your God/spirits/angels to bless your home with love and laughter. You can also drum or play music in each room, letting the vibrations of the music clear the space.

Another thing that I love to do is take a little bit of lavender essential oil, put it in a little spray bottle with a bit of water and then I spray it in all of my favorite places. It creates a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere.

(Don't forget to visit my Facebook Page and enter the contest to win a free copy of Goddess Leonie's Creating Your Goddess Year)

Wishcasting: What I wish to make peace with

Posted on 00:53 by Unknown
It's another Wishcasting Wednesday, happy wishes to you all!

Today's prompt is "What or whom do you wish to make peace with." I had to think on this for a little bit because I realized that there is a lot of stuff hanging around in my 'ol noggin' that I need to make peace with.

However, I decided on making peace with myself. The me from seven years ago. I still carry her with me sometimes and I realize that it is time to make peace with her and let her go.

Seven years ago when I was 19 I had my very first relationship, he also happened to be married. That whole situation, all two years' worth, defined me for a very long time.

I carried around a lot of guilt and anger, but more than that, I used it as an excuse. I used it as proof that no one was ever going to really love me. That I was not worth anything. It 'proved' once and for all that I was worthless, stupid, naive, gullible, broken, fat, ugly, and weak. I can't even begin to guess how many times I spent laying on the floor sobbing.

I still carry that with me. I still feel a lot of shame. I look back at that time and I feel so angry with myself for so much wasted potential. It's been five years and I still carry shadows of it with me. I still spend time wishing I could go back and change things.

It happened. It's over. It's time to let go. The past doesn't define me.

I wish to make peace with that.

p.s. Please check out my blog post 39 Things You Need to Know in 2012 and share with all your friends and fans.

39 Things You Need To Know In 2012

Posted on 07:44 by Unknown
2012 is here and as 2011 ended I found myself contemplating the things that I have learned in the past year. It was a hard year, it was a great year.

I spent the majority of the beginning of the year in deep grief over lost friendships. The deterioration of the friendship was like losing family, and like losing a piece of myself. It made me question so much about who I was and my worth to everyone around me.

As we go into 2012 there are some soul-lessons, pieces of wisdom that I want to share with you.

I want us to take hold of and embrace in the new year. Read them. Believe them. Print them out or write them down. Let them sink in so that you know them as truth.

1. You are beautiful. I don't just mean physically, I mean inside of you. That light that you have inside of you that is unique... Just the fact that you are here, that you are reading this, means that there is a spark inside of you. A spark of love, of magic, and magnificence. That can't be hidden, it shines out of you.

2. You mean something to somebody. There might be times when you feel like you're alone, or when you feel like all you do is screw up, but that's not the sum of who you are. Someone out there loves you. Really, really, loves you.

3. If you believe in yourself, miracles will happen. I am living proof of this right now. You can dooooooo eeeeet baby!

4. Find a way to be artistic. This is soul-medicine and lets you speak without words. And if your art IS your words, well that's cool too.

5. Be truthful, with yourself and others, it will make your life a lot easier.

6.You are not unattractive, unintelligent, unworthy, get rid of all of those pesky 'un's and realize you're pretty damn amazing.

7. You know that thing that you don't like about your body? It doesn't make you any less beautiful.

8. If something doesn't make you happy, let go of it, and find something that does. You aren't obligated to stick with it, find what makes you happy and hold on for dear life.

9. It is okay to have boundaries. You don't have to be there for everyone all the time. This doesn't make you selfish, it means you care enough about yourself, your wants, and your needs to do what is good for you.

10. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. What makes you happy is for you, you have to live with yourself, so don't let anyone else effect what makes your heart soar.

11. It is okay to tell people "no". It is okay to stand up for yourself and speak out when someone is not treating you the way you deserve to be treated. You don't have to take it, you don't have to accept it. If you need permission to stand up for yourself I'm giving it to you right now.

12. If you aren't ready to deal with "it" today. That's okay. You don't have to fix your issues today, you don't have to confront your fears today. It's okay to wait until you're ready. You'll know when that is.

13. No one has the right to make you feel uncomfortable in your own skin. Whatever your body type is, as long as you are okay with it, don't let anyone else make you feel like it's not okay for you to be happy with how you are. It totally is.

14. Realize that it will get better. Maybe not today. Maybe not even tomorrow. But it will get better.

15. Sometimes you need to feel sad and hurt. I know this, I believe this. Yet, sometimes those emotions grab you and pull you under until you can't breathe, until you are seconds away from drowning. When it reaches that point you have to loosen your grip a little. You have to start letting the pain go.

16. There is so much limitless potential just waiting quietly inside of you. Do you hear that? Limitless. Think of all of the things you could do if you just acknowledged that all of that was inside of you right now.

17. There are treasures inside of you. Even in your darknesses, there is good that can come from those places.

18. You can become better, greater, than what you ever thought you could be. You just have to want it bad enough, believe that you can do it, and love yourself enough to do what it takes.

19. No one has the right to put you down and if they do, then you have the right to tell them to stop.

20. Don't get so lost in trying to be someone else that you forget to appreciate who you are right now. We all have things we aspire to do/be but that doesn't mean that right here, right now you aren't pretty awesome already.

21. You are exactly where you need to be, you need to be exactly where you are. There is a lesson that is being learned by you right now. There is some wisdom for you in this moment.

22. No one has the right to make you doubt yourself or believe that you are not filled to the brim with greatness and potential ready to spill over. If you don't have people in your life to encourage you, then go out and find them.

23. Whatever you believe, make it a part of your daily life. It will change you in miraculous ways.

24. It is okay to give up, to let go. There is something to be said for follow-through, but sometimes you just have to acknowledge that it's not worth your time.

25. Your real friends will love you in spite of your faults. Surround yourself with these people and treat them right too.

26. Remember that it's okay to take a break, and to allow life to unfold slowly. This doesn't mean you're lazy, it means you love yourself enough to give yourself what you need.

27. Write yourself a love letter. Have a love affair with yourself. Make loving you a priority. You deserve it.

28. You make a difference in the world. Just the fact that you are alive can create magic and miracles. Make the most of this.

29. You know that person whose wisdom you admire? Remember to admire it in yourself as well. You are wise too, don't forget that.

30. We all have things about ourselves that we want to fix and change. Don't expect it to happen overnight. Be loving and patient with yourself.

31. Appreciate your body and all of the wonderful, beautiful, things it does for you on a daily basis.

32. Try to always be kind. It's hard sometimes, but nothing is accomplished by being mean and spiteful to other people other than getting it directed back at you.

33. Realize that a thought is just a thought. You have control over it. You are the Master of it. Control your thoughts, don't let them control you.

34. You have gifts to share. You can share your journey, you can reveal your transitions, you can listen, you can foster friendships, you can learn everything you want to learn and then begin to share. Don't ever think that what you have doesn't measure up, it does, I promise.

35. It's okay to be vulnerable. Vulnerability leads to strength. It is strength. It does not equal weakness, it does not mean that you aren't strong. You are made to feel, and you are made to feel broken every once and awhile. The great thing is, the broken-ness won't last.

36. Dream big and don't let anyone stop you from pursuing that. It's possible. I know it is.

37. Remember that it is never to late to start over. Create a new beginning, if you don't like something change it. Don't think that you're stuck. You're not stuck unless you allow yourself to be.

38. Allow yourself to forgive, don't hold on to tightly to past hurts. It won't make them better. Forgive others, but most importantly forgive yourself. You're doing the best you can.

39. And because I can not say it enough, know this... believe this... you are MAGIC, you are GREATNESS, you are LOVED and APPRECIATED and you ARE a miracle.

2012 is going to magical and I am so happy to continue this journey with you, to hear about your accomplishments, to be blessed by your presence in my world, thank you for being you and allowing me to be me!

Lovelovelovelove,
