Mine has been 10 days of minor ups and downs. I've been feeling a subtle sense of discontent. I don't know what it is yet, it requires more investigation, but I'm ready for the work, and I think good things are going to come from it.
I also managed not to go down the spiral. If you've been hanging out with me for awhile then you know that every time I release a new product I jump head first into this deep, dark, stinky, pit o' despair.
I skipped it this time around.
I'm still not quite sure how I did it (as you can see this seems to be the year of general confusion!) but I did and it overjoys me. I think a lot of it was belief in myself and confidence in what I do, I think it's about damn time I found that, eh? Since that happened I've been seriously thinking of all the things I can create now. So many ideas, and I can only hope and pray that I keep the motivation to allow 2013 to be the year Blessing Manifesting shines.
Today's card is all about embracing new beginnings and nurturing them to growth. How appropriate! The Maiden is a wee little faery who wears a crown of light. She represents smiles and flowers and dancing and all of the things that bring joy.
Even though the Maiden is powerful and wonderful she is still a child, she's still starting out, and she needs to be cared for, nurtured, and cherished. When she takes the form of a flower someone must see that she gets enough water and sunshine.
Are you allowing yourself to be nurtured?
The maiden has an openness to life and to love. Every moment for her is filled with adventure, playfulness and hope. She is innocent and awakening to the world. The possibilities are endless.
