My Wish for My Home

What do you wish for your home?

Talk about perfect timing! As some of you may know, at the beginning of the month I left my apartment of seven years and moved into a brand new apartment. It has been an adventure! I feel unsettled. This doesn't feel like my home and worst of all, it doesn't smell like my home. Due to my love of incense, former-apartment was imbued with its essence, it always smelled wonderful, comforting, and magical. Paint and new carpet smells is not really my cup o' tea. No matter how much incense I burn now it's just not 'sticking'.

I wish for my home to feel like 'home'.

I want it to feel comforting and magical again. I want to get that feeling of happy anticipation and safety when I stand at my door, ready to walk inside. One of my favorite Goddesses has always been Hestia and I really need to reconnect to her, to bring her power into my life. 

I need to stop procrastinating on the unpacking, I need to buy new bookshelves so that the 10 boxes of books I have can be put in their proper place. I need to stop worrying that I am going to be uprooted any time soon. I really, really, need to do the Creating Your Goddess Haven E-Course so that this place suits me in every way.
